Teilnahme am 4. Formstoff-Forum in Clausthal
Am 29. und 30. März fand das 4. Formstoff-Forum statt, an dem Markus Michel von der Universität Bayreuth, seine neuesten Forschungsergebnisse im Bereich des Online-Monitorings von Formstoffen präsentieren konnte. Diese wurden im Rahmen eines ZIM-Projekts (KK5155003DB1) gemeinsam mit uns als Kooperationspartner, der Sensor Control GmbH aus Neuwied, generiert.
Das vom Bundeswirtschaftsministerium geförderte Vorhaben befasst sich dabei mit der Verknüpfung der elektrischen Impedanzspektroskopie als Messmethode mit Methoden des maschinellen Lernens als Auswerteoption, um die Formstoffzusammensetzung nach dem Mischprozess konstant zu halten.
Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei den Organisatoren des Formstoff-Forums für die Möglichkeit, dass wir in diesem hoch spannenden Rahmen unsere Ergebnisse den Expertinnen und Experten aus dem Gießerei- und Formstoffbereich vorstellen konnten, und für die große Gastfreundschaft an der TU Clausthal.

Commissioning in Sweden
Bruzaholms Bruk as a leading manufacturer of heat-resistant and wear-resistant castings from Sweden commissions Sensor Control with the delivery and commissioning of the pneumatic binder injection BMI-30.
The scope of supply of the BMI-30 includes a pneumatic binder injection system consisting of a transmitter with all necessary fittings, an injection group, a control system and a 3-point weigh hopper for the inlet of up to 3 screen feeder and suction.
The highly automated casting plant is now complemented by the BMI-30 and, in addition to the optimization of the molding material and accurate dosing, also benefits from more effective utilization of mixing time.

Commissioning in the time of
COVID-19 Virus
In the current pandemic, solutions must be created that enable us to continue to guarantee the best service for our customers.
Since traveling to risk areas is currently only possible under difficult conditions and with a high risk for customers and employees, Sensor Control GmbH, together with its local partners, has found a solution that enables commissioning and services to be implemented professionally and budget-friendly in the usual way.
The answer to the question “How can a system be commissioned even during the pandemic in risk areas?” Is remote-supported commissioning with qualified personnel on site.
To implement such a remote commissioning, system-specific and chronologically ordered commissioning instructions are sent to our local partner in advance.
As a second step, all points and the strategy are discussed via video chat or other means of communication before commissioning. For this purpose, we have set up password-protected video conference rooms on our website, which enable communication without the need for additional software.
All necessary work and checks are carried out by our partner at the customer’s site. A service technician from Sensor Control follows all the steps live from the PC and can react immediately if the commissioning engineer on site is unclear. Measurement series are analyzed simultaneously by the remote commissioning engineer and the results of the evaluations can be transmitted directly.
Such a remote commissioning was most recently possible with our long-term partner Künkel Wagner India in the renowned foundry Integra Automation Ltd. To be carried out successfully within 3 working days.
Conclusion
This commissioning has shown that our developed concept for the implementation of a commissioning during the pandemic works.
The result was so successful that we decided to offer remote commissioning as it offers significant cost advantages for our customers.
The basic concept fits into our company philosophy. We at Sensor Control GmbH offer our customers automated solutions to improve processes.
This also includes saving energy.
If mixing times can be reduced through perfect dosing and real-time monitoring, on the one hand sand production can be increased. On the other hand, energy is also saved. This “green thinking” also fits in with remote commissioning, because by putting a system into operation in this way, no service technician from Germany has to travel long distances to carry out work that a locally based company supported by our online Help can also perform.

Wie gehen wir mit der Ausbreitung des COVID-19 Virus um?
Sensor Control GmbH sorgt für die Sicherheit der Mitarbeiter und für die Verfügbarkeit von Produkten und Serviceleistungen.
Wie vermutlich für alle Mitbewohner dieser Erde ergibt sich auch für uns in der aktuellen Krise eine gewisse Verunsicherung. Zentrale Fragen ergeben sich. In dieser kurzen Information möchten wir unseren Kunden erklären welche Maßnahmen wir getroffen haben und wie wir es schaffen für Sie als Kunde in gewöhnter Zuverlässigkeit weiterhin für sie da zu sein.
Wie kann ich einen Betrieb der Firma Sensor Control aufrechterhalten ohne Mitarbeiter und Kunden zu gefährden?
Um den Empfehlungen des RKI zu folgen und eine ausreichende Entfernung von Mensch zu Mensch sicherzustellen, haben wir unsere Mitarbeiter aus der Produktion in Tagesschichten eingeteilt, so dass unsere Mitarbeiter räumlich getrennt voneinander arbeiten können. Unsere Kollegen vom Technischen Service und von der Projektabteilung arbeiten im Homeoffice. Die Geschäftsführung arbeitet ebenfalls räumlich getrennt im Betrieb.
Wir nutzen Telefongespräche und WhatsApp Gruppen um uns abzustimmen. Kunden werden durch unsere Mitarbeiter im Homeoffice zurückgerufen oder kommunizieren in gewohnter Weise über E-Mails und WhatsApp.
Projekte werden in Telefonkonferenzen besprochen und geplant.
Können Inbetriebnahmen durchgeführt werden?
Für Inbetriebnahmen bieten wir aktuell einen online Support an. So haben unsere Kunden die Möglichkeit unsere Systeme unter Anleitung unseres Mitarbeiters durch die eigene Instandhaltung in Betrieb zunehmen.
Können unsere Produkte weiter international ausgeliefert werden?
Unsere Produkte können bis heute wie gewohnt geliefert werden. Auch der internationale Versand funktioniert reibungslos.
Fazit
Als Fazit können wir festhalten das wir aufgrund der soliden Struktur unseres Unternehmens unseren Betrieb trotz der schwierigen Umstände aufrechterhalten können und für Sie da sind. Selbstverständlich merken auch wir einen starken Rückgang was die Auftragslage betrifft. Wir sehen diesen Umstand aber als ein temporäres Problem an dem wir uns wie alle Unternehmen stellen müssen. Es ist uns aber sehr wichtig ihnen zu zeigen das Sie sich wie immer auf uns verlassen können.

Alles ist in Bewegung – auch unser Unternehmen und unsere Mitarbeiter. Bewegung bringt immer auch Veränderungen mit sich.
Eine Veränderung hat es auch zum Jahresende 2017 gegeben. Unser Gründer und langjähriger Geschäftsführer, Herr Lothar Knab, hat die Verantwortung für die Firma zum 01.01.2018 auf die nächste Generation übertragen.
Herr B. Eng. Sebastian Haacke hat die Geschäftsführung übernommen und wird im Sinne der Familie das Unternehmen weiterführen. NOVATRONIC Business takeover
The company Sensor Control, Neuwied has with effect from 15.08.2015 acquired
the business and product range NOVATRONIC from the company Innovatherm, Butzbach.
Sensor Control is a leading supplier of moisture control systems for the preparation of bentonite-bonded molding sand. With this acquisition the portfolio will be extended and it can also the ceramic industry offer well known control systems for moisture and plasticity control in preparation and shaping.
Of course, all existing customers of the company Innovatherm are supervised in the usual reliable manner and supplied with spare parts and services.
